How the dose calculation works
From the milligrams on the label to the mark on the syringe, by way of the vial's concentration. The three steps below are solved with the calculator's values.

Milligrams in the vial ÷ mL of water = how many mg sit in each mL.

A 10 mg vial with 2 mL of water gives 5 mg/mL. A 1,000 mcg dose takes up 0.2 mL — that's 20 units on a U-100 syringe.

How many units is 1000 mcg?
In a 10 mg vial with 2 mL (5 mg/mL), 1000 mcg is 1 mg — 0.2 mL, or 20 units on a U-100.
And 500 mcg?
10 units in the same vial. 500 mcg is 0.5 mg, or 0.1 mL.
And 2000 mcg?
40 units. 2000 mcg is 2 mg, or 0.4 mL at a concentration of 5 mg/mL.

From micrograms to units, without tripping
Three different units meet in this calculation, and that's where most mistakes are born. The vial label speaks in milligrams. The protocol sometimes speaks in micrograms. And the syringe speaks neither: it's marked in units, which are fractions of a millilitre.
The bridges are simple. 1 mg = 1000 mcg, always. And on a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL — so 20 units is 0.2 mL. What links the peptide to the volume is your vial's concentration, which only exists once you've chosen how much water to add.
One detail that saves people: a unit is not a measure of peptide, it's a measure of liquid. Two people can draw 20 units and receive completely different doses if they reconstituted their vials differently. Whenever someone says “I take 20 units”, half the information is missing.

No, but they travel together. A unit is a mark on the syringe's scale. On a U-100, 100 units equal 1 mL, so 20 units is 0.2 mL. Since the peptide label is in mg or mcg, the conversion always goes through the vial's concentration.
1 mg = 1000 mcg. Repair and cosmetic doses (BPC-157, TB-500, GHK-Cu) are usually written in micrograms; GLP-1s like semaglutide and tirzepatide usually come in milligrams. Swapping the two is a thousand-fold error, so it's worth checking twice.
Divide the vial's milligrams by the mL of water to get the concentration. Divide your dose by that concentration to get the volume in mL. Multiply by 100 on a U-100 syringe (or by 40 on a U-40). Example: 10 mg in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL; a 1 mg dose is 0.2 mL, or 20 units.
Yes. The math is identical for semaglutide, tirzepatide, BPC-157, tesamorelin, ipamorelin or a compound you added yourself. What changes between them is the usual dose and the vial size — not the calculation.
If the result goes past 100 units on a U-100, that dose doesn't fit in one injection. Reconstitute with less water to concentrate it: half the water means half the units for the same dose.
